  • Q: Is there an hourly minimum?

    The standard hourly minimum is 3 hours, this can be more depending on date and time.

  • Q: Do you have insurance?

    Yes, all of our vehicles are 100% insured. If you have any questions about the extent of our insurance coverage for your corporate account, please call us at 281-265-5466. We will be glad to provide you with the information you require.

  • Q: What if we forget something in the limo?

    Colony Limo is not responsible for any lost or forgotten belongings, however if we do find a lost item we will hold on to it and you may come and pick it up.

  • Payments and Charges

  • Q: Do you require a deposit when booking a service?

    Yes. We do require 50% deposit at the time of booking for all our hourly rentals. For any other services we require credit card information to secure our service.

  • Q: What methods of payment are acceptable?

    All major credit cards accepted. We also accept traveler’s checks or cash. A direct billing account can be set up for your convenience by calling 800-991-5466.

  • Q: When will you charge my credit card?

    The deposit will be charged at the time of booking and the remaining charges will apply on the day or the day after your service is completed.

  • Q: May I get a receipt for my transportation services?

    Yes, you may obtain a receipt from the chauffeur at the end of the trip or you may request a receipt via fax or e-mail.

  • Q: Should I tip my chauffeur?

    There is a 15% mandatory gratuity for all limousine vehicle and transportation services; please confirm with the office at the time of booking to verify whether the gratuity has been added to your quote.

  • Q: If I’m not ready at the pickup time, will I be charged for waiting time?

    The hourly charge will apply if we wait longer than 15 minutes. It is best to be ready before your vehicle arrives!

  • Q: Do you charge overtime?

    Any waiting time or over time more than 15 minutes there will be a charge accordingly. Waiting for delayed or lost luggage, delay in customs or immigration (45 minutes max wait free of charge), late departures from pick up location to the airports (Waiting longer than 15 minutes pass the schedule time), extra stops, extra service or any other services not within the agreement there will be extra charge to the customer and has to be paid in person or will be charged to your credit card on file.

  • Q: I had a limousine reservation but my plans have changed or have been canceled. What do I need to do?

  • Q: Arrival at Houston airports, where should I meet my driver?

    Arrival at IAH (George Bush International Airport) : There are many airlines flying into George Bush International Airport and arriving at various terminals. We will monitor your flight status and based on your airline’s flight status page the driver will meet you at the posted terminal (A, B, C or E). For domestic flights arriving from other US cities, the driver will meet you at baggage claim level near the assigned carrousel at the posted terminal (A, B or C). For international flights arriving directly into Houston from overseas, the driver will meet you inside the Lobby as you exit customs and immigration in terminal E. The driver will be stationed nearby the Starbucks café. Always look for the personalized sign with your name on and if you can’t locate your driver, please call us immediately at toll free 800-991-5466. We will direct your driver to you. Arrival at HOU (William P. Hobby Airport): Please meet your driver at baggage claim level near the information and rental car desk closer to the exit door.   • Q: What happens if my flight is late?

    Our operations staff monitors the exact arrival time of each and every commercial flight into Houston. You can be assured that your chauffeur will be waiting for you when you arrive. If this is a commercial flight, there will be no additional charge for the delay unless the flight is delayed past 12:00 AM. All airport transfers between the hours of 12:00 AM and 4:30 AM will incur a $25 surcharge regardless of the circumstances.

  • Q: What if my flight is canceled?

    There is no charge for any flight arriving into Houston that is canceled by the airline. However, it is the responsibility of the traveler or booking agent to notify our office at 800-991-5466 to advise us of any new travel arrangements.

  • Q: How will I recognize my Chauffeur?

    Colony Limo chauffeurs are in dress attire; black suit, white shirt and black tie. Your Chauffeur will display a personalized paging sign with your name. Our limo vehicles have personalized license plates with CLNY plus the number of the vehicle.

  • Q: What if I do not see my chauffeur?

    Our chauffeurs routinely arrive at any pick up location (at a residence, office or airport) 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time. If driver has not arrived in this time frame, please call 800-991-5466.

  • Q: How far in advance should I make my reservation?

    Please make your reservation at least 24 hours in advance to ensure that we have an available vehicle.

  • Q: Can I make a last minute limousine reservation?

    We will make every attempt to accommodate you but YOU MUST CALL directly to make that appointment. DO NOT email or use our reservation page to make a last minute booking.

  • Q: What are the qualifications needed to be a limo driver?

    You must be at least 26 years old, have a clean background and driving record. You are also required to have a chauffeur license issued by the city of Houston. Please click on the "Employment Application" link at the bottom of the page to access our online application form.     All hourly limousine rental cancellation during the week, require 72 hours notice and the weekends 14 days notice. All hourly limousine rental throughout the special events such as Prom, Rodeo, New Years eve, Major concerts and sports event, cancellation fee at anytime. => Deposit or 50% of Total Fare, whichever is greater (except of office approvals) Deposit or 50% of Total Fare, whichever is greater.

Limousines Amenities

 

  • Q: I am traveling with an infant. Are there car seats available?

Due to size and safety restrictions for different age groups, we are unable to provide car seats, but customers are more than welcome to bring their own.

  • Q: Is smoking allowed?

Our entire fleet of vehicles is nonsmoking. We respect the rights of the smoker, but we also respect the rights of the next passenger who may not smoke.

  • Q: Do you provide complimentary alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages or do the customers have to provide their own?

We can provide non-alcoholic beverages and champagne. Customers are welcome to bring their own alcohol as long as they are at least 21 years old.

  • Q: Can we bring food?

No, food is not allowed in the vehicles.

  • Q: Can we bring our own music?

Yes, if you bring the AUX connection cord you can hook up your phone or iPod.
